
JUAN CATALANO
Juan Catalano is a music composer, producer and drummer from Buenos Aires who has been manifesting himself at the forefront of audiovisual music creation. Trained in both classical and contemporary styles, Juan has composed music for renowned brands alongside scores for short and feature-length films and television.
Juan's recent work was shortlisted at Festival Circulo de Oro for best original music for Movistar's short film "This is Not a Game," which garnered multiple awards at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Additionally, his original score for the feature-length film "Gala y Kiwi" was celebrated at the 77th Edinburgh International Film Festival under Lynda Myles' collection for its boldness and subtlety, marking its international premiere.
Graduated with an Honors Degree in Music Production and Music Composition for Film from Universidad Católica Argentina in 2023, Juan further honed his skills through advanced courses at renowned institutions such as Berklee College of Music, California Institute of the Arts (CALARTS), and the University of Edinburgh. This comprehensive education instilled in him a deep passion for meaning, form, and beauty.
